I've written already about our W.I.
Can we possibly get better- we'll give it a try!
We've done a great panto already this year
But we need more to join Drama - we've made that clear.
Our W.I. is growing as each month goes by
When you see what we do then you will know why.
In March we go to see "Kiss me Kate"
The Marlowe shows are always first rate.
The Darts coffe evening is the 40's Lindy Hop
Will the good things we do ever stop?
With our present committee certainly not!
We aim to improve things alot.
A different speaker comes each monthly meeting
They all get the same friendly greeting.
Our Art group does us proud
Their exhibition last year drew a crowd.
The other groups meet the same
As last year I gave them acclaim.
We have three new groups started this year
A Computer group to help us make this new toy clear
A French group to help us parler francais
And a reading group to show the library isn't a maze.
With all this going on you can understand why
The best place to be is Kennington W.I.!
